Our Blue & Gold dinner is Saturday, February 27th. Please arrive at 5:45, as we will line up the boys for the opening flag ceremony and start promptly at 6pm.

We will be going to the Beaver Meadow Audubon Center, located at 1610 Welch Road in North Java New York 14113 this weekend (January 29-31).
Eat dinner at home, then arrive after 5:00pm on Friday. We’re not serving dinner Friday night! Saturday we’ll wake up, eat breakfast, spend the day with a naturalist (including snow-shoeing), have dinner and spend the rest of the evening inside. We’ll be sleeping on a hard, wooden floor, so bring a cot, air mattress, or other type of sleeping pad. Restrooms are indoors.
Cost is $20 / Scout, $20 / adult.
Our Winter Campout will be Friday January 29th to Sunday January 31st at Beaver Meadow in Java, NY.
We’ll be doing wood burning, a scavenger hunt, snowshoeing, board games, and a night hike, in addition to spending all day Saturday with a Naturalist from Beaver Meadow.
Menu for the weekend is yogurt, banana & granola Friday night, breakfast burritos Saturday morning, tomato soup with cheese & crackers and trail mix for lunch, Jambalaya for dinner and a cobbler for dessert. Sunday morning we’ll have cereal and oatmeal for breakfast.
We’ll be sleeping on the floor of the museum, so bring a sleeping pad, air mattress or cot.
Cost is $20 per person.

Take Elmwood Ave. south (into Buffalo), after the Scajaquada (198), turn Right onto Iroquois Dr. Once on Iroquois Dr, (SPEED LIMIT 20mph!!!!!), look for the only stop sign, and turn left onto Bengal Dr. Park in lot S-1.
We are in the basement of the Science Building (SW corner of the parking lot), Rm. 115. There is a giant black banner in the lobby pointing the way to the “star”case.
Cub Scouts will meet in the lobby starting at 5:30pm. The show will start at 6pm, so please don’t be late!!!
There’s been a change in schedule for September. On the 16th (this Wednesday) we’ll be fishing. Meet at Fisherman’s Park at 6:30. Look for a bulldozer. Call your Den Leader to RSVP (a headcount is required!)

September 23rd will be our Roundup & first den meeting, 6:30 at St. Paul’s.

We’re going to start our 2009 – 2010 year of Scouting this Wednesday at 6:30 at St. Paul’s. If you can’t make it, our next meeting will be September 16th – we’re skipping 2 weeks due to school starting.
Our popcorn sale starts Sept 1st – get out there selling early! Get it out of the way, and sell to your neighbors before another Scout moves in to your territory
