In your den’s month, you (the den leader) are responsible for getting to Council between our leader’s meeting (2nd Tuesday of the month) and the awards ceremony (3rd Wednesday of the month).
We’re going to start our 2009 – 2010 year of Scouting this Wednesday at 6:30 at St. Paul’s. If you can’t make it, our next meeting will be September 16th – we’re skipping 2 weeks due to school starting.
Our popcorn sale starts Sept 1st – get out there selling early! Get it out of the way, and sell to your neighbors before another Scout moves in to your territory
We will be going to the Beaver Meadow Audubon Center, located at 1610 Welch Road in North Java New York 14113 on Saturday, August 15th.
Arrive at 5:00pm. We’ll have dinner (chicken parm), do some outdoors program, have a snack, star gaze, sleep (on the floor – bring a cot or air mattress & sleeping bag, etc), then in the morning, eat breakfast (pancakes & such) then do more activities before leaving at noon (no lunch).
Cost is $15 / Scout, $20 / adult.
Your den leader should have called & confirmed this trip with you. If you haven’t heard from your Den Leader and are interested in going, you MUST call him / her.
