The Greater Niagara Frontier Council Museum Committee is sponsoring another Boy Scout Book Sale. It will be held at the Boy Scout Service Center on Friday April 17th from 9:00AM until 5:00 PM as well as Saturday April 18th from 9:00AM until 2:00PM

Make your purchases from among the over 400 scout books, magazines and other printed materials. All proceeds from the sale of these items will go to the Council Museum Fund. Cases are being made and artifacts are being prepared. Soon we will have a beautiful museum to show off the history of the GNFC. It has been long in coming but it is now just around the corner. So come to the Book Sale and help us raise money to make the museum one to be proud of.

Several members of the Western New York Traders Association have agreed to volunteer their services on Saturday from 9:00AM until 2:00PM, for the purpose of appraising any of “YOUR” Boy Scout Items that you wish to have appraised. Many of us have acquired memorabilia from one place or another and have no idea of its worth. Our experts will be on hand to tell you the approximate value. So bring down those items you have always wondered about, but didn’t know what they were or what they are worth. We all hope to see you at the sale Friday or Saturday.

If any one has any books they want to donate to the sale please contact council at 830-7654 and they will make arrangements to receive them.

GNFC will also accept Monetary and Memorabilia donations at this time. So if you have any artifacts of our Council’s Scouting History, that you feel should be on display please bring them to council at this time. Remember not only American Scouting will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2010 so will our Council. GNFC was among the first to become a certified Council (October 1910).
